INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS OF SPORTSCIENCE ARTICLES

The main focus of this site is now research resources and topical information such as conference reports, opinions on recently published papers, and so on. If you would like to contribute, here's what to do.

  • Read the guidelines on style for articles at this site.
  • Use the template appropriate for the section of the journal.
    • News and Comment is for a short item about sport research in progress or in print, highlights of a recent or upcoming conference, a hot topic on a mailing lists, a new item of equipment, or anything else of interest to the sport-science community. An item of only a few paragraphs will be included with others iin an In-Brief article.
    • Write a Perspectives article if you want to put forward a personal view of a topic. The scope of the article should be similar to that of a mini review or a leading article.
    • The Reviews section is for a traditional scholarly review of a topic related to human physical performance. We have novel approaches for the structure of the review and for reporting findings.
    • An Original Research article is for a traditional report of your own previously unpublished research. As for Reviews, we have several novel approaches for structuring the article and reporting outcomes.
